Days off allows you to add custom holidays and other dates that could impact your plans.

If the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, are considered Days off, then you might what to show them differently in the visual. Or you want to exclude them from a task duration.

E.g. Your task stars on a Thursday, and the duration of the task is set to 4 days. Without special treatment for the weekend, the task will be set to be done on Sunday (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

However, if there is no work being done in the weekend, the task should be done by Tuesday next week. (Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday).

In addition to regular weekends, you can add custom days off in this menu.

Once added by selecting the "+" sign and specifying the date, you can chose how to handle these days in the format pane:
