Conditional Formatting - Profitbase/PowerBI-visuals-Gantt GitHub Wiki
Conditional formatting option is found in Edit Mode:
- Give the rule a name
- Select the rule color you want apply
- Select the where in the hierarchy the formatting should be applied (Parent, child, both)
- Select which part of the visual the formatting should be applied to (Taskbar, Milestones, Data grid)
- After you have made that selection, specific options can be made available.
- Add the condition(s). All fields used in the visual can be used in the conditions.
- Save, and the rule is applied.
In the example below, the ruleset "Anders" is set to apply a yellow color to the child levels, in the data grid, to the columns named Manager and Grouping. The yellow color should be applied to the background color of these columns where the Manager-field contains the name "Anders".
Another option is to create a color scale:
- Give the color scale rule a name
- Select the field you want to base the color scale on (cannot be a field formatted as sting)
- Select the where formatting should be applied (Data grid, Taskbars, Milestones)
- Select what it should be formatted to (for Data grid, the options are Font color and background color).
- Select the type of color scheme
- Select the colors and how many color ranges you want.
