Under the Column Options card in the Format Pane, you can configure the following:

Column Options card

  • Visible Columns — Sets the default number of columns visible to the left of the splitter line. Default is 1 column.
  • Store sorting state — A toggle switch (On/Off). When enabled, the visual stores and persists your last-clicked column sorting preference (column and direction) when the report is reloaded.
  • Column Widths (px) — Custom pixel widths for each bound column:
    • Tasks Column Width (px): Controls the width of the main Tasks hierarchy column.
    • Column Width (px): Dynamically generated numeric fields for each column added to the Additional Columns well (e.g. Manager Column Width).
  • Reset to default — Restores all settings in this card (widths, visible columns count, and sort persistence) to their default factory settings.

Based on these fields

The columns available in the options card are generated based on the fields you drag into the following data wells:

Tasks and Hierarchy: Supplies the primary task name and hierarchy levels.

Additional Columns: Supplies any additional fields you want to view as separate grid columns.
