This Wiki provides complete documentation for OlympiaSW, a MATLAB-based software package for computing the kinematics, kinetics, and spatiotemporal parameters of sprinting.
OlympiaSW is based on the marker-based model proposed in Di Marco, et al. (submitted 2025).
OlympiaSW is a MATLAB-based toolkit for the biomechanical analysis of sprinting. It enables the computation of:
- Kinematic parameters
- Ground reaction forces and joint kinetics
- Spatiotemporal descriptors of sprint gait
OlympiaSW has been developed to assist researchers and professionals working in sports science and rehabilitation and it is based on the marker-based model described in:
