Great Persons
Crusader Kings 3 has a lot of historical characters, but most of them are landed titleholders and not appropriate for our adaptation of the World of Darkness. Princes of Darkness has more than 2000 canon White Wolf characters with some of them being fictionalized versions of people in history. We have added "Great Person" events that spawn some of the great warriors, artists, theologians, infamous rebels, and criminals as characters to the mod. They spawn into the game at historically appropriate times. Most of these characters were unlanded in life. When one spawns, if you are in their regional area, you will have a chance to interact with the character. Will you turn them into a vampire or a ghoul? Will you devour them or will you ignore them? If you decide to ignore them, there is a great chance that other vampires will not. Some of these great people also become great vampires as well.
Their appearance in the game also helps give players a sense of historical progression as historical geopolitical events seem somewhat distant to the long unlives of the undead. Some of those Great Persons are left intentionally vague as to the truth of their claims of fame. The World of Darkness is a universe of mysteries and half-truths after all.
Here, we will provide a list of great people in the mod here with their wiki links. Good hunting!
