As a young mortal, Iskandar grew up to become a competent and popular commander in Jan Seyum Zagwe’s army, but his true desires was in the history of his family and the world beyond just Aksum and Egypt, despite his father’s wish of having a solomonic ruler on the throne of Aksum again.
Germa Seyum eventually ascended to the throne and sought to improve relations with the Byzantine Empire, Orthodox Christians. During the expedition to Constantinople lead by Iskandar, Him and his men were attacked by what was only explained as a monster with bright yellow eyes and claws, his expedition was murdered and though he did not manage to beat the beast, Iskandar managed to cut off the left hand of the beast, causing it to retaliate sending him flying into a nearby tree, while without an arm it leapt straight for Iskandar ripping into the man’s throat as it emptied his veins, just as it drank up Iskandar’s blood it fled the scene. Months passed and Iskandar had been given the education needed to survive as a Kindred, it came as a shock first, but the Ethiopian grew used to it eventually, eventually however, Critias vanished, leaving Iskandar alone, to either survive or be destroyed with only a few guidelines and the history of the Brujah and the paradise once known as Carthage, Iskandar chose to return to Ethiopia with a watchful eye on the horizon to what is now Tunis, dreaming, but also fighting against the Zagwe Dynasty’s attempt of completely controlling Ethiopia, his Haven having been perfectly chosen to be in Aksum, the most holiest site to Ethiopians and also his and his family’s former home.
In the later years, Iskandar would take on his own childe and aided the Ethiopians in re-establishing the Empire of Ethiopia under the Solominc Dynasty, still dreaming and researching the history of Carthage, and what was once a powerful mage by the name of Solomon, his original ancestor
