Aggregations are created by right clicking on any tag in the Admin tool (simple, full or aggregation views) and selecting one of the available aggregation levels from the list.

When a aggreagation level is selected a dialog is shown where the user can configure the new aggregation. The name of the aggregation is by default the source tag + configured suffix for the aggregation level. Description, unit and range is copied from source tag. Available aggregation levels and default name suffix can be configured in Aggregate options.

The "Start aggregation from option" is used when historical values are desired. The new aggregation will be recalculated from the selected starttime until the time of creation.
