About COACH Risk Engine
COACH Risk Engine is a multi-state model for predicting survival and recurrent hospitalization in patients who are discharged alive from the hospital after recovery from acute heart failure. To allow for convenient application of the model in practice, a user-friendly software implementation has been developed in Java. This implementation is open source (licensed under GPLv3) and can be obtained here. For more information on the COACH Risk Engine, see the publication referred to below.
Running COACH Risk Engine
To run COACH Risk Engine, first unzip the downloaded zip-file and then simply double-click on the .jar file. If COACH Risk Engine doesn't run, it is most likely that the required version of the Java run-time environment (version 6 or later) is not installed on your computer.
