ForgetMeNot AI™ begins with a dedicated Login Gate that controls access to the application.

The authentication experience has two distinct layers:

Account Authentication → ForgetMeNot AI™ Access PIN

The first layer authenticates the user's account through Firebase Authentication using Gmail/email credentials and password.

The second layer provides an additional Access PIN associated with the ForgetMeNot AI™ experience and its Firebase-backed data access.

Together, these create a two-step access experience before the user reaches their personal ForgetMeNot AI™ environment.

Existing users can authenticate using their registered Gmail/email user ID and password through Firebase Authentication.

The Login Gate provides:

• 📧 Gmail / Email User ID

• 🔒 Password

• 🔥 Firebase Authentication

• 🚪 Secure application entry

After successful authentication, the application can identify the authenticated user and load the corresponding ForgetMeNot AI™ experience.

New users can select Create Account directly from the Login Gate.

The account creation flow allows a new ForgetMeNot AI™ user to establish their authentication credentials before accessing the application.

If an existing user cannot remember their account password, they can initiate the password-recovery process rather than creating another account.

This keeps account recovery separate from the additional ForgetMeNot AI™ Access PIN.

After account authentication, ForgetMeNot AI™ presents the Access PIN layer.

The Access PIN provides an additional application-level access step after the user's Firebase account authentication.

The user enters their configured PIN to continue into the protected ForgetMeNot AI™ experience.

The Access PIN screen provides:

• 🔄 Reset PIN functionality

• 🚪 Protected entry into ForgetMeNot AI™

If the user forgets their Access PIN, the Access PIN screen provides a Reset PIN pathway.

Keeping the two flows separate makes the distinction between account authentication and application access clear to the user.

The ForgetMeNot AI™ access architecture uses Firebase as part of the application's authentication and persistent data environment.
