Enclosure design - Ponkala/audiopoli-protone GitHub Wiki
The enclosure is made out of MDF that is CNC machined into pieces. The MDF is found to have good acoustic properties and best of all, it's inexpensive. Using MDF requires quite tedious surface finishing though, which is a definite tradeoff.

We use the SomaSonus SB26 waveguide for the tweeter (noPS, 6" version). The waveguide is 3D printed, since that is the method we have at hand and it's cheap. Filament is wood-filled PLA since it's quite easy to sand down, as well as paint. A clamp was also designed to better attach the tweeter to the waveguide. The clamp can be 3d printed using basic PLA with low quality settings.

The CAD files for the enclosure will be added to the repo.
