GM Menu - Scene Settings
Important: Menu items 3 and 4 are only available when the Core Rules module is active!
- Darkness settings on the current scene. By checking "Sight Modifiers (auto)", the visibility conditions specified in "Darkness Threshold" (2) are automatically applied to AT, PA, RC, and DO. Additionally, advantages like Dark Sight 1 and 2 are taken into account.
- Darkness Threshold: Depending on where the slider in "Darkness" (1) is positioned, different visibility conditions are applied to the scene. This is applied exclusively to AT, PA, RC, and DO checks!
Example: Darkness is past Silhouette and before Shape. All actors on the scene receive the Silhouette penalty on their checks (taking their advantages and disadvantages into account!) - Here, sight automation is activated. An explanation can be found here: Sight Automation
- Multiplier: These multipliers apply, like "Darkness" (1), to the current scene you are on. This multiplies the sight and light values of tokens on the scene. Well suited for scenes whose grid unit deviates significantly from 1/2 (Example: city or area maps).
- DPS (Dere Positioning System): When this checkbox is active, the distance between attacker and target is measured on all scenes to automatically consider the ranged combat penalty. Additionally, a token can only interact with a merchant or treasure if it is close enough.
