Introduction

a project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. Now, depending on your structure, this may be a good place to define your commercial statement and work. And it all depends on if you are running the overall program, you might want to create your statement of work at the program level, or if you are an owner of a project within that program as a boutique vendor or an individual team within an organization, you may want to create your project charter or your statement or work within the project itself.

Available Actions

Add Template

We have that add template functionality. If you went through and did the program lesson, this is very similar where we can add the project charter which we have hidden here but would be the project charter if I wanted to go and change this or create a new project charter. I could either edit and put one in and just type it in by hand, or I could go here and click on the variety of templates that are available to me to use one of those to accelerate the project charter development.

Historical Comments

the historical comments, which is that ledger of all the different changes we're making to the project record of the project information from a business perspective. And every time we go and make a change, we're going to update that historical comment and provide that business perspective of why we made that change. Because it's always good to document this type of information because you never know what comments that you make today may be important months or years from now.
