Clear, Complicated, Complex Core concepts: definitions and ways of working - Pistoia-Alliance-Inc/Pistoia-Alliance-PGO GitHub Wiki

Definitions

1- "Clear", or "Easy / no-brainer" Concepts

The concept has no conflicting definitions. There is clearly one preferred resource to reference for the vocabulary (e.g. one resources mentioned independently by several PGO members).

2- "Complicated" Concepts

These include concepts whose definitions vary given known specific contexts or use cases and require disambiguation. There are multiple existing good definitions and vocabularies out there to choose. While are not in conflict with each other, a disambiguation or a harmonization process seems to be needed.

3-"Complex" Concepts

The core concept definitions may vary significantly depending for example on: context, Pharma function (R&D, production, marketing), standard deployed or use-case . These concepts requires deeper discussions, beyond disambiguation.

Way of working

1- "Clear", or "Easy / no-brainer" Concepts

These concepts can be handled more efficiently by the PGO core steering group as far as alignment goes.

2- "Complicated" Concepts

These concepts require one or two specific additional experts from the PGO Working group for the alignment sessions.

3- "Complex" Concepts

These concepts require a broader conversation opened to the wider PGO Working group for the alignment sessions.
