Altium
Altium Designer has a temporary free student license to use the full software program. After that license expires, you can still view your designs with a free perpetual Viewer license.
KiCad
Panelizing
KiCad doesn't really have an automated way to do this, but it can be done.

It works to just run PCBNew, then open a .kicad_pcb layout file, then go to File->Append Board..., then align the appended board
Teardrops
Pcbnew 5.1.6 does not have a tool for making teardrops. Fortunately it does support addon plugins. There is one here: https://github.com/NilujePerchut/kicad_scripts/tree/master
Simply copy-paste the teardrops
folder into your C:\Program Files\KiCad\share\kicad\scripting\plugins
directory on Windows.
