1. Secure boot must be turned on and a password must be set.
2. On reboot, the boot menu will open and an MOK entry needs to be made.
3. Select Add MOK and add a new entry, the password will be asked, enter password press enter

If stuck with a blinking cursor, Try Alt+Ctrl+F(1/2/3/4/5/6). This will open the command line.

sudo apt purge ~nvidia
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt clean

sudo apt nvidia-driver-535 // this will install 535
