Hyper64 is a emulator for Commodore 64 made by Benjamin 'BeRo' Rosseaux and has a Freeware license, the GUI language is English.
The latest version of the emulator on EDC is 1.00.2008.08.08 (x86), released on 2008-08-08, it runs on Windows XP,Vista,7,8,10, you can start this emulator with Hyper64.exe.
This emulator does NOT specificly need BIOS image(s) to start ROM files!
Hyper64 is a working proof-of-concept of an experimental C64 emulator implementation without resorting to a conventional CPU emulation, but instead utilizing a realtime dynamic recompilation engine รขโฌโ which disassembles, analyzes and re-assembles the 6510 machine code as native 32-bit x86 code. It further uses a fast translation code cache.
