EightyOne is a emulator for Jupiter Cantab - Jupiter Ace, Sinclair QL, Sinclair ZX81, Sinclair ZX Spectrum made by Michael D Wynne and has a GNU GPLv2 license, the GUI language is English.
The latest version of the emulator on EDC is 1.2 (x86), released on 2015-11-30, it runs on Windows XP,Vista,7,8,10, you can start this emulator with EightyOne.exe.
This emulator does NOT specificly need BIOS image(s) to start ROM files!
EightyOne is a multiple system emulator for these systems: Sinclair ZX80, ZX81, ZX Spectrum and QL, Amstrad Spectrums, Timex TS1000, TS1500, TC2048 and TS2068, Lambda 8300, Ringo R470, Microdigital TK-85 and Jupiter Cantab Jupiter Ace. It also emulates a couple of HomeBrew computers: ZX97 Lite and Spectrum SE.
