What is the Sccp Manager - PhantomVl/sccp_manager GitHub Wiki

The purpose of this project is to create a GUI for configuring the driver SCCP and additional services.

For correct operation of the phone requires the following service tftp, dhcpd, SCCP. At this stage the Manager is required installed and configured service : mysql - realtime, dhcp - set addresses, and phone settings, tftp - files configuration.

The Manager provides automatic generation of the necessary settings for chain-sccp driver and phones. It is important to understand in the absence of any required files, the system Manager will not be able to generate configuration for cisco devices.

In connection with feature phones, you will need the stock firmware for your device model. Availability of language packs for your phones. All of the files previously located in the working directory of the tftp path. The Manager analyzes these \tftpboot directory, and create needed to operate the phones files. The generation of configurations of phones is based on the templates for these models. In the template there is no variable part, and the data which are generated on the basis of data from the database for this device. It allows you if you want to use your own templates. Before you begin you must ensure that all components are configured and you have all the necessary files.

So the working structure \tftpboot:

[Desktops] - Phone desktop
[English_United_States] - Phone language
[ring]
[templates] - Phone templets ( auto create after intsall)

  • The next step is to check the types of supported devices. Open the page SCCP Advance Server Configuration. This reflects the information on multiple types of devices. If you do not see your phone model in the devices list, change the view mode by clicking the show button enabled -> show All. Locate your model. Select it, and click "Enabled". If you see that your phone model is highlighted in red it means that you must verify the files of the firmware, to verify that the names of the firmware files, and template XML files. In the absence of the necessary data, the model will not be included in the list of supported devices.
