Playable Races

We currently have three playable races. The N7Humans, the Asari, and the Turian. There are many more playable races to come as well as NPC's to fill the universe with others of your kind. We will even be introducing additional species through various enemy types so stay tuned. Anyway ~ let's move on.

Implemented Races

• Asari

• The Asari. The 1st of the SMEE races, the Asari were actually in development and released early by request in early December 2013. Various adjustment have been made since and more is to come. One to note would be the male Asari option. We plan to make this the Matriarch stage and the female option will be considered the Maiden stage. Both with different sprites and vanity items such as apparel.

• Customization Options are currently undergoing a makeover. The final release will consist of skin tone, eye color, markings (hair/tentacles), marking color (hair/tentacle color), and various clothing options unique to the races culture. You'll also be able to choose from the Maiden and Matriarch stages.

• Starting Treasure Pool is also currently being adjusted as we create additional content. The N7Human is a good comparison as all SMEE races currently use it.

• N7Human

  • The N7Humans. The 2nd of the SMEE races, we chose this as a way to prevent replacing the default Starbound Human assets. Many little things have been changed and we felt this was the best way to keep the two separate.

  • Customization Options are the same as the default Starbound humans.

  • Starting Treasure Pool The N7Human starting treasure consists of

• Turian

• The Turian. The 3rd of the SMEE races, the Turian were also released a little early to provide an additional, playable, option while other various features are in development.

• Customization Options are currently undergoing a makeover. The final release will consist of skin tone, markings, marking color, and various clothing options unique to the races culture. Both genders are available and will offer different apparel.

• Starting Treasure Pool is also currently being adjusted as we create additional content. The N7Human is a good comparison as all SMEE races currently use it.

• The Quarian. By popular demand the Quarian have the highest priority on becoming the next SMEE race!

• Geth

• The Geth. By popular demand the Geth have the second highest priority on becoming the next SMEE race!

Known Issues

• There is an issue with the male asari option using the default male human body colored blue. *Currently investigating

• The turian's idle frame on the emote page was left blank by mistake, this causes them not to have a mouth. *Fixed, coming soon.
