Random Reaper Invasion So, similar to how a meteor shower is random, have a very rare event (delta sector only) where reapers invade a planet at random. Start by showing a reaper descend in the background (it should always be visible in the background, not scroll off-screen due to parallax). Then, drop pods of weak reaper troops drop randomly - when they hit land, they leave a crater and spawn a random group of enemies (2-4 husks, 1-2 marauders). Once a good number of those have dropped (maybe 10-15), drop pods of strong reaper troops (1 explosive husk, 2-4 marauders, 0-2 ravagers, a brute or a banshee) drop randomly, mixed with weak reaper drops still. When all strong reaper enemies are destroyed, a small reaper lands and must be destroyed to stop the dropping of weak reaper groups. There should be some important drop from the small reaper that is part of a powerful weapon or armor craft.
Tier 10 Reaper Invasion When players enter sector x, the major reaper invasion should start. Reapers start at several, neighboring systems. The only way to clear a system is to find the planet that the reaper is orbiting and destroy the reaper by attacking it from planetside. While a reaper occupies a system, all monsters and NPCs on all the planets are replaced with reaper enemies. When a reaper occupies a system, a timer countdown starts. It takes the reapers 10 minutes to invade the closest, unoccupied system. The only way to stop the reaper invasion is to find the system where the Citadel is, board it, and destroy it.
