monitorSH

monitorSH is a script written in bash. The core function is to put a network device into the monitoring mode and / or waking it up to the managed mode. However it provides more than that.

• Change network device in monitoring mode
• Change network device in managing mode
• Shows Mac-Address of device
• Shows device supported IEEE 802.11 protocols
• Auto "wake-up" from failed try to put device in monitoring mode

Functions in development:

• Auto-detect network-manager
• Asking for network-manager name
• Restarting network-manager
• Fast-scan for WEP encrypted wifi networks
• Change Mac-Address of the device
