- Wraptors will be remodelled in version 3.0, the wiki here is displaying the new designs
A large, neutral avian found in warped forests, these creatures can be spotted donning glamorous turquoise coats, and with the right care, can prove to be a reliable source of feathers. Beware their tempers, however, as wild Wraptors will burst into a flurry of rage if completely bereaved of their plumage. Designed by Noonyeyz.
Wraptors are found in flocks of 4
to 6
in warped forests, respawning over time. They can spawn at any light level and on most solid blocks other than warped nether wart blocks.
Wraptors ( and their eggs ) can also be found in the wraptor coop structure.

experience points when killed by a player or tamed wolf. Baby wraptors (?)
Each time they are sheared, wraptors give 2

This is not affected by Fortune or Looting.
- from version 3.0 onwards wraptor will give

Upon successful breeding, 1

experience points is dropped.
Wraptors attack wither skeletons. Subsequently, wither skeletons are afraid of wraptors. Wraptors are also immune to the wither effect, and will take no damage from it.
When in the overworld or the end, wraptors begin to shiver. A few seconds after shivering, they will gradually lose their feathers, one stage at a time. They will not grow back unless the wraptor is returned to the nether.
Naturally spawned wraptors will despawn over time, you can prevent this by simply interacting them successfully once, like feeding them in order to breed them or shearing them.
Wraptors have 4
stages of feathers. Each stage can be sheared once to drop feathers. After being completely sheared, a pair of hidden wings will be revealed, and the wraptor will roar and attack the player that sheared it. Wraptors that have been hatched from eggs will not attack players when sheared fully.
- from version 3.0 onwards wraptor will have
5
stages of feathers
150
seconds (450
ticks) after being sheared, wraptors will begin to regrow their feathers, one stage at a time.
A wraptor will lay a single egg after breeding. Feeding two wraptors any item from the #wraptor_breed_items
tag will result in them entering love mode. By default, the tag contains only shroomlights.
Egg laying
Bred wraptors will lay a single egg on any block in the #wraptor_nesting_blocks
tag. By default, the tag contains magma blocks, warped wart blocks, warped nylium, soul soil and soul sand.
Egg hatching and baby wraptors
A wraptor egg must be hatched by dropping two anvils on them from 6
blocks or higher.
Baby wraptors born from eggs will not despawn naturally. Baby wraptors have natural regeneration. When a hatched wraptor grows up, it will not attack players when sheared fully, and can be leashed.
