Birt dwellings can spawn on birted birches. Naturally generated birt dwellings can have 2 to 3 birts inside them.
Birt dwellings can also be crafted with birt eggs and a birch log.

Up to 3 birts can fit in a dwelling. If a birt dwelling is broken with a tool not enchanted with silk touch, it drops itself and any birts inside emerge angry at the player. Nearby birts will also become angry and attack. If a silk touch tool is used, the birt dwelling drops itself and any birts inside remain inside, and any birts nearby do not become angry.
A single birt egg will be spawned every-day within a birt dwelling, per birt inside. Up to 5 eggs can be stored within one dwelling. These eggs can be harvested by right-clicking the birt dwelling. Doing so aggravates the birts inside. In order to harvest eggs without aggravating the birts inside, the player must make loud sounds within 8 blocks of the dwelling
