Alchemist Registry

Obtaining:
Can be found in a Swamp Mansory.

Functioning:
This book can be placed on a lectern. As soon as it is placed on one, it will emit particles similar to those of the enchantment tables. If a villager with the Librarian profession approaches it, he will study it and then convert to Alchemist Master, appropriating the book in passing...


Teleportation Potion

Obtaining:
This item can be purchased from an Alchemist Master under two different offers :

  • 4 x Emerald and 1 x Golden Carrot
  • 2 x Emerald and 5 x Chorus Fruits

Functioning:
When a player consumes a teleportation potion, he will be teleported to the last place it remembers. The teleportation point will be defined:

  • To a position defined through the use of a Memorial Excerpt
  • By the player’s bed (if not removed in the meantime, and if he has never used Memorial Excerpt before)

If the player has no more teleportation point via a valid bed, or has never used Memorial Excerpt, the consumption of the potion will fail. The potion can be used from the Overworld, the Nether, and the End.


Memorial Excerpt

Obtaining:
This item can be purchased from an Alchemist Master for 36 x Emerald and 1 x Paper.

Functioning:
The player must throw the Memorial Excerpt (Drop key) at a desired location. After a few seconds, the Memorial Excerpt will soak up the memory of the area. The player will then be able to teleport there as he likes by consuming a Teleportation Potion.

The Memorial Excerpt defines a teleportation area for the player using it only. Other players will also need to use a Memorial Excerpt independently to save their teleportation zone.


Rain Dissipater

Obtaining:
Can be found in a Steamer Strays Wellbore.

Functioning:
The projectile which looks like an arrow can be fired from the bow. To be activated, it must be shot high (aiming at the sky), in the overworld. If the Rain Dissipater is shot too low, it won't explode. You will nevertheless be able to pick it up. Detonating it will emit a wave to dissipate the clouds when it rains, in order to bring back the good weather.


Springs Boots

Obtaining:
Can be found in a Steamer Strays Wellbore.

Functioning:
The boots have a very special mechanism: once equipped, they will allow the player who wears them, if he wants, to bounce higher during his jumps. To do this, we will have to practice following a very special movement:

  • During a jump, the player will have to put himself in "Sneak" state before landing.
  • Once landed in the "Sneak" state, the player will have a short time to release the "Sneak" key and perform a new jump. This way, its extension on the spring boots will allow it to make a jump higher (3 blocks).
  • If the player repeats this operation in a row or more, the following jumps will be even higher (4 blocks).


Springs Boots Use Sheme

This complex mechanism was set up for two reasons:

  • Bring to this mechanics the need for a little experimentation.
  • Allow the player to continue to make normal jumps when desired, without having to pull off the boots.


Magnet Hook

Obtaining:
This item can be purchased from a Last Steamerworker for 1 x Lodestone and 1 x Warped Fungus on a Stick.

Functioning:
Equipped in the second hand, this item allows its user to hold onto the walls, targeting a block less than 16 blocks away, using the right click. Once hung, the player will be able to use the "Sneak" key to detach.

The Magnet hook can be activated only every two seconds, following a small audible indication.

The Magnet hook will fail its retraction if it does not find a block strong enough in its path (up to 16 blocks) or if the walls surrounding its hook point are too narrow to allow the player to get in.



The Magnet hook also allows the player to climb over the block he is hanging on. To do so, you'll need to face a bit above the desired block before landing ("Sneak" key). The player, instead of being dropped, will climb on the block. If you don't want to climb any block when releasing the latch point, you just need to look elsewhere or downward.


Some cautions to have while using the Magnet hook :

  • If all blocks around the latch point are destroyed, the hook won't have any block to retain it anymore, and the player will drop.
  • If the player disconnect and reconnect while he's hanging somewhere, he'll also be forced to land.


Ancient Tablet

Obtaining:
Can be found in a Higuru Temple.
Can be purchased from an master librarian (jungle erudite).

Functioning:
The item can be used to apply the bewitchment it contains to a suitable item, thanks to an Ancient Altar (see the Bewitchment page for more information).

The Ancient Tablets are available in different versions:
