Providers and Login - PauloCarv/drupalclaw-project GitHub Wiki
Providers and Login
DrupalClaw works with the AI provider you already use. You pick one on first launch and can change it at any time.
First launch (setup wizard)
- Pick a provider: GitHub Copilot, Anthropic, OpenAI and others
- Authenticate, with OAuth or an API key depending on the provider
- Pick a model
After that the main interface loads.
GitHub Copilot
Copilot uses a device login:
- DrupalClaw shows a short code (for example
XXXX-XXXX) and a button that opens GitHub's device page - Open the page, enter the code and authorise
- DrupalClaw checks every few seconds and continues by itself once GitHub confirms. You can also press Check & Continue
If a step never completes, go back to the provider list and start again.
Changing provider later
Type /login in the chat at any time to pick another provider or re-authenticate.
Where credentials live
Provider credentials are stored by PiClaw in an encrypted local keychain inside your Docker volumes. They are not touched when you update the image.
