New Terms Virtual Memory: Memory which is on a secondary storage device but which is accessed by a primary storage device Cache Memory: Memory type which is more expensive than dram but is much faster, can be found in the processor of the computer. Double Data Rate: A system of chips designed to use both sides to send data making it much faster than older single sided models. Parity: a chips way to detect malfunctions and errors Paging File: A part of the hard drive utilized by applications I think that my computer could benefit from me increasing the size of the page file space as I have a decent amount of ram and often access multiple files at once. My primary experiences with flash memory revolve around resetting my computer. I have only ever factory reset my computer twice, once to remove old files and the other time to install an SSD onto my system. Overall found flash drives to be very important for the transfer of data between systems, such as larger files but overall useless for personnel storage. My SSD on the other hand has been phenomenal and has helped me double my computer storage and quickly load important programs such as booting windows and some games.
