Game Strategy

Our strategy consists of getting both beacons activated during autonomous using Vuforia navigation and OpenCV color sensing. We also knock the cap ball off and park on the center platform.

During Teleop, we shadow the opposing alliance's robots as they press their beacons. Pressing an opponent's beacon is a net gain of 20 points, because they lose 10 points and we gain 10 points. That makes already-pressed beacons twice as lucrative as unclaimed beacons.
