6. Conclusion - Patimarron/OSAS-Device GitHub Wiki

When making a wearable design, we have to take in account a very important factor such us the size and the technologies implemented. In our specific case, the size of the components we had at our disposal were too big and the technologies we used were not the optimal for the designed device. Furthermore the development has been harder than we expected.

Never the less, thanks to caring out this project we figured out a functional way of solving the problem of OSAS (Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome) which many babys suffer when they are asleep.

Our Arduino prototype has proved that our design is a good way to solve this problem. In case we would like to carry on with this project in the future, in order to make it functional, we would have to use more developed and sophisticated technologies such as nano-bateries, like the ones that use hearing aids.
