Current Project Status: Green

The team has made good progress, with some challenges along the way. The first major hurdle was getting accustomed to the development environment. Currently, we are on track and we will be working on closing the other existing issues.

Team Goals for the upcoming week:

Major goals for the next week are to finish all the open issues. We will be majorly focusing on building the Firebase documentation structure in the necessary way. We will also be building a CI/CD pipeline with circleCI. Also, we will work on the firebase authentication as well.

Individual Team Member Status:

• Antariksh: Worked on familiarizing the team with the framework. Becoming more familiar with some of the devops tooling.

  • This coming week: complete the testing pipeline, Building Firebase Authentication.

• Krinal: Familiarized herself with the framework. Become more familiar with Firebase.

  • This coming week: Work on testing pipeline and Firebase

• Swaraj: Worked on understanding some of the DevOps tools, Contributed in research for the currency detection model.

  • This coming week: Work on finalizing the ML model and begin building one.

• Akhil: Familiarized himself with the framework. Discussed about the potential UI with Khushi. Contributed in research for the currency detection model.

  • This coming week: Work on the front end to finish building the authentication system. Contribute in the research for ML model.

• Khushi: Familiarized herself with the framework and Firebase. Discussed about the potential UI with Akhil.

  • This coming week: Work on the front end to finish building the authentication system.

• Harsh: Familiarized himself with the framework. Hosted 2 team meetings and coordinated amongst team members. Managed the documentation of the project. Contributed in the ML model research

  • This coming week: Keep on managing the project and following up with the tasks with individual team members. Will work with Swaraj to build ML model.

Team activities:

We hosted 2 group meetings:

• Working group meeting 02/21 and 02/25 : Everyone attended.
• First meeting was a team workshop about getting to know about the android studio environment and installation. In the second meeting we discussed about Firebase, inputs from all members on the ML model and we all decided on starting slack as our communication channel.

Team Project Decisions:

• The only major decision was to speed up the process to keep up with the sprint speed and start the build process by start of the 2nd week.
