Performing an analysis on a new corpus

1. Log into Linguine using your RIT username and password

  • You do not need @rit.edu in your username
  • The RIT Tiger logo will appear if you logged in successfully

2. Go to the Corpora page

3. Upload your corpus

  • Click Create Corpus
  • Name the corpus
  • Select your file
  • Click Create Corpus

4. Go to the Analysis page

5. Create a new analysis

  • Click Create Analysis
  • Select your analysis type
  • Select your corpus
  • Select preprocessing operations (If none are listed, preprocessing for that analysis type is automatic)
  • Name the analysis
  • Click Create Analysis

6. View your results

  • If the analysis is marked Incomplete, refresh the page occasionally until it finishes
  • Click on the Analysis
  • The visualization tab will display a graphical representation of the results
  • The default view tab will show the raw data returned by the system
