Our goal is showing and growing parallel polis - a world that is parallel to current society. How do we make an impact?

We believe that it is more about finding the right people than about persuading them. So instead of convincing them about anything, we should show them.

The public

There are two ways the general public can learn about the existence of Paralelni Polis. They either come to Bitcoin Coffee (attending a meeting with someone else, or just by noticing it from the street and coming in) or from the media through PR activities.

For the cafeteria, the goal is to show people the existence of these parallel options. The most noticeable part is that they can only pay with cryptocurrencies, so they have to learn about this aspect, but there are other aspects: we only play creative commons music, 3D printed objects around, artwork related to parallel world, information about how we protect privacy, etc.

Through PR activities (features in magazines, interviews in media, ...), we teach people about the existence of various aspects of parallel society and if we catch their attention, they can come.

The education

After people learn about the existence of parallel polis, we help them understand the technologies, philosophy and science behind it in Institute of Cryptoanarchy and Makerslab, where they can attend a workshop, lecture or a hackathon.

The application

When people gain enough knowledge, they can apply it. There are two ways - they can hack on project in CryptoLab or they can start or join a company in CryptoHub coworking and accelerator (we use the name PaperHub in Prague).

Back to the society

When people create new projects, products and services, they improve some aspect of the parallel polis and this attracts more people from the public (again, through PR, Bitcoin Coffee or Institute of Cryptoanarchy).

This makes the whole house a positive feedback loop that allows more people to "enter outside".
