Localhost Install - ParacoccidioidesDB/paracoccidioidesdb.github.io GitHub Wiki
For a ParaDB installation on your local machine, only a few requirements are required:
- Docker
- Docker Compose
For details on installing these prerequisites, visit the developers documentation.
Starting the ParaDB container on localhost
To start the ParaDB and Blast containers on localhost, run the following commands:
$ git clone
$ cd
$ docker-compose up -d
Configuring the local hosts
An additional step must be performed for local ParaDB operation. The operating system hosts file should point the domain of the ParaDB to the local IP (127.0.1.1) of the machine.
Open the hosts file of your operating system with a text editor and add the following lines (in Linux, the file will be in /etc/hosts):
127.0.1.1 paracoccidioides.com
127.0.1.1 bd01.paracoccidioides.com
127.0.1.1 blast.paracoccidioides.com
127.0.1.1 blast01.paracoccidioides.com
Note: Use a tab for the spacing between IP and Host.
