A Vehicle Quotation is an estimated cost and delivery time of the vehicles you're selling to your future/present customer.

How to Create a Vehicle Quotation

There are three ways of making Vehicle Quotations.

1. Vehicle Quotation from Opportunity form

If an Opportunity already exists against the Lead/Customer, then you should create the Vehicle Quotation the Opportunity form so that all the relevant details are picked and the quotation is linked to the opportunity.

2. Vehicle Quotation from the Lead form

If an Opportunity does not exist against a Lead, then you can also create a Vehicle Quotation directly from the Lead form.

3. Creating a Vehicle Quotation manually

Home > Vehicles > Pre-Sales > Vehicle Quotation

Go to the Vehicle Quotation list, and click on "Add Vehicle Quotation".

Vehicle Quotation Form

1. After clicking the "Add Vehicle Quotation" button, a form will appear on the screen.
2. Select if the Vehicle Quotation is to a Customer or a Lead from the "Quotation To" field.
3. Enter the Customer/Lead Name.
4. Once you select the Customer/Lead, details will be fetched from the Customer or Lead, including contact details, customer details, and address.
5. Enter the vehicle details, like vehicle variant, color, and delivery period.
6. Enter Sales Person name in the Sales Team table
7. Press Submit button after confirming all the details

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions Template

The Terms and Conditions can be set by selecting the "Terms and Conditions Template" which will determine the terms based on the following:

1. The Validity clause is based on the "Validity Days" field.
2. The Delivery clause is based on either "Delivery Lead Time (In Days)", if the Delivery Lead Time is not available then the system will show the "Delivery Month". In case of unavailability of both Delivery Lead Time and Delivery Month, the system will show "Allocated Month".
3. The Partial Booking Amount is determined by the payment schedule determined for each Variant/Model.

Manually Editing Terms and Conditions

To manually edit the Terms and Conditions, you can remove the "Terms and Conditions Template" and then make changes accordingly.

Vehicle Quotation Status

1. In case the person rejects the quotation you can change the status to the lost quotation by clicking on the top right button named set as lost, entering the quotation lost reason with details and declared lost.

2. If a quotation is not converted after the validity days, it will automatically be marked as "Expired".
