Low bar defense completed. Low goal cut out by Mike. Seesaw defense component began.

Enhanced the high pull up bar to include the high throw test capability. This enhancement aligned with the discussion to see if the piston design will allow the robot enough control to perform the high throw. Completed the low bar. Field elements are primarily complete. High goal completed.

Initiated the high pull up bar. Put polycarbonate on the generic field model and wood sealet on rough terrain, the moot, rock wall and ramparts. Completed field elements: moot, ramparts, rough terrain, rock wall.

Summary of the day

Built ramp for the defenses. Started on the 1st defense - the ramparts. Made a materials list.

  • Decisions: Make base plates slightly smaller than 24 inches. Will bolt base plates down to the ramp. There will be a ~ 1/16 inch gap which is not predicted to effect the robot performance.
  • Concerns: Finishing the defenses by next week.
