2. In‐Game Rules - PXG-Arma/Wiki GitHub Wiki
The main rules (please read)
You must agree to abide by our rules before using our servers or systems.
These rules apply during official mission hours, Thursdays and Sundays at 7PM GMT (8PM CEST), and are enforced from post-briefing until the "Mission Complete/Failed" screen. Outside these hours ("Coffee Ops"), the policies do not apply.
Policy | Details |
---|---|
Metagaming and New Life Rule | Do not intentionally shoot and kill another player. |
Report issues with other players to a PXG-Team member on Discord or Steam. | |
Avoid metagaming (e.g., discussing technical issues or map changes aloud). | |
Use the "Y" button to ping Zeus, avoid Global/Side chat for issues (unless your mic breaks). | |
Respect the New Life Rule (NLR): upon death, do not share prior knowledge with teammates. | |
Loadouts and Roles | Stick to loadouts within your assigned element (e.g., Alpha uses roles under the Squad tab). |
Do not mix loadouts from other factions or roles. | |
Accept your assigned role from the Squad Leader without argument. | |
Platoon leaders may reassign teams based on attendance or mission needs. | |
Support teams (MMG, MAT, MORTAR, RECON) require a leader (e.g., MMG Lead + MMG Gunner). | |
Do not merge PL level roles into one team marker. Keep them separate. | |
Unconsciousness, Death, and Rebirth | If knocked out, wait for a Medic; do not force respawn unless in an irrecoverable location or told to. |
After death, wait for Logistics at the Staging Point/FOB; do not return to your element on your own. | |
Medics should not euthanize unconscious players to force respawn. Only the PL can authorise body bag usage. | |
If a Squad Leader is down, the next in command should take over, retrieve the leader’s radio, and manage the ACE tracker. | |
Using Enemy Equipment/Vehicles | Do not use or pick up enemy uniforms, helmets, vests, or vehicles. You’ll get friendly fired because you look like the enemy. Just don't. |
Enemy firearms/launchers may rarely be used with leader pre-approval (extreme situations only). | |
Light enemy vehicles may be commandeered as a last resort with PL/LOGI approval. | |
Heavy enemy assets (APCs, IFVs, Tanks) are off-limits. |
Armoured Assets
Armoured assets require a dedicated crew:
Asset Type | Min Crew Size | Notes |
---|---|---|
APC | 1 | Driver and commander. |
IFV | 2 | Driver, gunner, and commander. |
MBT | 2 | Driver, gunner, and commander. |
SPAA | 2 | Crew slots as an AA Team. |
SPG | 2 | Crew slots as a Mortar Team. |
Air Assets and TACP
Air assets must have TACP elements:
Asset Type | Aircraft | Notes |
---|---|---|
Transport | 1 | FAC with PL acting as JTAC. |
Transport | 3+ | JTAC and FAC. |
CAS | 1 | FAC with PL acting as JTAC. |
CAS | 3+ | JTAC and FAC. |
Mixed CAS/Transport | 1+ | PL discretion, typically for low attendance ops. |
Communication Notes:
- FAC stays on AIRNET, JTAC stays on PLNET.
- FAC should not join the Platoon Leader's tracker.
