TortoiseSI Installation Prerequisites

  • A PTC Integrity 10.7 or 10.8 Client is required.
  • TortoiseSI supports all Windows operating systems that are supported by the Integrity client in 10.7 and 10.8. See Integrity Product Platforms on the PTC - Integrity Support site for a complete list.
  • TortoiseSI only supports files located on fixed local drives. Optical drives, network drives, and mass storage devices are not supported.

Download a TortoiseSI Build

  1. In a browser, navigate to AppVeyor.
  2. Click Latest Build or click History to download a previous build.
  3. Click the applicable OS platform link.
  4. Click the Artifacts option.
  5. Click to download the MSI file.
  6. Run the downloaded TortoiseSI MSI installer.

Updating TortoiseSI

You can install a newer build version of TortoiseSI directly on top of your existing installation. You do not need to uninstall your current TortoiseSI application first.

Installing Language Packs

TortoiseSI may be available in additional languages as an MSI language pack installer file. TortoiseSI uses the appropriate language pack for the configured Windows Display Language when installed and available.

Notes:

  • If you do not have a corresponding TortoiseSI language pack installed for the configured Windows Display Language, TortoiseSI defaults to English.
  • Non-translated strings always default to English strings in the TortoiseSI interface.

To download and install TortoiseSI language packs:

  1. Ensure that you install the English TortoiseSI application first before attempting to install an available language pack.
  2. Download the language pack from AppVeyor.
  3. Run the language pack installer.
  4. Ensure that the Windows Display Language is configured for the TortoiseSI language pack you have installed. TortoiseSI should display in the correct language.
