The present results show that the current PRIDE Inspector Toolsuite perform well for most of our stadard file formats, with less than 1 and 3 minutes average for loading the spectrum information for all the spectra files and chart generation, respectively. In case of identification files for mzIdentML and PRIDE XML files the process of loading the complete experiment is in average 3 min and 1 min, respectively. Especially, the time to load an mzIdentML file depends of the architecture and the amount of memory available. Future developments of PRIDE Inspector Toolsuite will be focus in the performance of the library and the functionalities it perform (Protein Inference, Quality charts, etc). If the user can assign more memory in the config files under cofing/ folder, the tool will perform faster and better.
