HSDR-1000
The HSDR-1000, full name Handheld Synthetic Death Ray, is an unauthorized backpack directed energy prototype built by Pablo Cakewalk.

|---|---|
| Type | Handheld single emitter |
| Builder | Pablo Cakewalk |
| Fuel | Single generic grade cell |
| Method | Funneled neutron pump, no convergence |
| Status | Grounded pending teardown |
| First appearance | HSDR-1000-LOG |
Design
Single discharge chamber with internal focusing lens. No Hex Triad, no true ignition. Scaled baffle shielding protects operator to backpack standard, below PSI safety norms. Generic grade selected for predictable burn below 35 keV and 24 hour charge. Reactive rejected for margin loss. Efficient rejected for low heat.
First live test destroyed a reinforced concrete slab and removed operator eyebrows.
Demonstration
Participants: Pablo Cakewalk, Batista Cakewalk, Elena Voss, Marcus Feld, FAMS passive monitoring. Source: HSDR-DEMO-TRANSCRIPT.
Sequence: sheet reveal of backpack rig with side fuel rack, sourcing challenge by Voss, physics challenge on symmetry, blast shield positioning, eleven second continuous white blue discharge with climbing hum, radiation spike callout by F.A.M.S., wall loss to glowing trench, level two vibration next door logged as HSDR-INC-001.
Outcome: Batista ordered full teardown and containment analysis within one week by Voss and Feld. Further firing suspended. Log held at confidential family access. Pablo began HSDR-1200 notes immediately.
Operational assessment
Not clean fusion. Not grid relevant. Effective as sustained thermal shear at short range. Primary risk is operator exposure, sourcing violation, and indoor testing.
