  1. To read the status of all vetos online: status_sipmcomm
  2. To put on all vetos online: on_sipmcomm
  3. To put off all vetos online: off_sipmcomm

After turning on/off vetos check their status : if some channels are not yet up or down , please repeat the instruction to put them on or off.

At the moment (16/7/2020) the NIM controllers at address 192.168.62.61 (pveto 6) and 192.168.62.57 (eveto 4) are OFF these scripts due to problems and have to be put ON/OFF from its web interface by calling http://192.168.62.xx and going to the HV control page.

http://192.168.62.61

DO NOT PUT ON CHANNELS FROM 13 TO 16 : THEY WILL CRASH THE MODULE !!

same procedure for http://192.168.62.57

DO NOT PUT ON CHANNELS FROM 8 TO 11 : THEY WILL CRASH THE MODULE !!

then set up at 57 V [off at 0 V] manually (flat for all 12 channels) and wait until everything is OK

At the end, logout from dcs@l0padme1.

At the moment status strips are being written to the new DCS monitor to check every 30 sec or so the V,I,Temp of all veto stations in the DCS monitor - detector - pveto, eveto and hepveto windows.

Alarms are not yet in action through the new DCS control, so if anything goes down the shifter has to take action.
