Mongooses are a family of mammals within the Herpestidae family, which are commonly realised for their specialised abilities in attacking venomous snakes. Most species - with few exceptions - are solitary, with males and females coming together to mate once a year. Wild Mongooses are largely nondiscriminatory predators, consuming small animals such as rodents, birds, reptiles, frogs, insects, and worms.

Mongooses have 6 different variants. These include (from left to right):

Spawning and Biomes

The Mongoose spawns in savannas, deserts, and jungles. They have a 20% spawn rate and spawn in groups of 1-2.

Drops

The Mongoose drops Small Wild Meat and Fur. It has 8 hit points.

Behaviour

They can kill Termites that are in their range of vision. They are neutral, and if harmed, attack back.

Breeding

As of release 1.0, the Mongoose is currently able to have babies. The Mongoose can be bred using Raw or Cooked Crab Meat.
