3.0 NEED STATEMENT:
A commercial businessman who runs a cafe situated in outdoors wants to have an automatic rain sensing umbrella for each table which are situated in outskirts because of increasing Popularity and Vogue.

Objectives Problem definition:
Design an automatic rain sensing unit that will detect rain and be able to protect people from rain. The unit should be designed to be portable and easy to use, it should also have the ability to connect to the internet for additional data and be able to connect to other system for monitoring and control.. The unit should be easily to maintain and have a low cost of ownership.Designed unit shoul have standard parts for creating the unit and user friendly.

Functions problem defintion:
Design a affordable automatic rain sensing umbrella which senses the rain and provide shelter against it , it should also sense and display temperature , it should cover a decent area ,able to work for sufficient time , user friendly and can be controlled by other means .

Machine must not exceed the volume of 2 cubic feets , should have at least 2-3 hours of backup available, budget to build should not exceed Rs. 3000 /- and it should work for 3 hours continuously. It should take 2-3 minutes for opening and setting up of the device

The unit should be designed portable and easy to use, it should also have the ability to connect to the blue-tooth for additional data and be able to connect to other system for monitoring and control. Device must not exceed the volume of 2 cubic feet , should have at least 2-3 hours of backup available, budget to build prototype should not exceed Rs. 3000 /- and it should work for 3 hours continuously, low cost maintenance is must. It should take 2-3 minutes for opening and setting up of the device .
