The Gesture Robot
The Gesture Robot is an advanced, touchless desktop system designed to mimic responsive human-robot interaction. Instead of traditional physical buttons or remotes, the robot uses an infrared sensor array and computer vision to track gestures, improving interactivity and utility on home or office desks. The model integrates a coordinated head articulation mechanism, proximity tracking, and an electronic control system for stable operation.
Functions
The robot uses a specialized processing module and sensor array interface in which each input signal moves in a synchronized sequence to maintain responsiveness. The assembly axes are driven by servo
Applications
Educational demonstration of gesture recognition and robotics
Robotics and automation training
Search and inspection in uneven terrain
Companion/assistance robotic concept development
