PROBLEM DEFINITION
Prolonged working hours, study pressure, and excessive screen exposure can cause stress, mental fatigue, and reduced concentration among students and office workers. This project aims to develop a compact, affordable desktop toy that encourages users to choose playful interaction instead of mobile phones during short breaks. The toy detects nearby objects or user interactions and performs jumping movements. Its key features include sensor-based activation, battery operation, and a compact 3D-printed body. The main objectives are to provide screen-free entertainment, promote mental relaxation, improve user engagement, and create an attractive, energy-efficient desktop companion using cost-effective materials, with a total manufacturing budget below ₹4,000.
