Typical Workflow

Level 1 and Level 2 processing utilising PyFluxPro provides netCDF4 files for quality controled (range check, ...) meteorological (Ta, Tv, Ah, RH, CO2, Ws, Wd, ps, ...), radiation (Fsd, Fsu, Fld, Flu, Fn, ...), soil (Ts, Sws, Fg, ...) and covariances (u'w', Tv'w', Ah'w', CO2'w', ...). Level 3 is to process fluxes for momentum, latent and sensible heat and carbon dioxide PyFluxPro using the co-variances from the logger output. The co-variances are corrected using coordinate rotation, units are checked, a Massman frequency attenuation correction can be applied, WPL correction for open path gas analysers is applied and finally fluxes for momentum, latent and sensible heat as well as carbon dioxide are calculated. PyFluxPro was developed to perform these calculations and corrections, hence it is a straight forward processing job. Generic control files performing the task are available in “PyFluxPro/controlfiles/templates/”.
