Main page of settings
When you click on settings you go on this page, there are several sections, all these sections are available except the "advanced settings one" which will be unlocked if you have gathered at least 53 points. And when you do have 53 points there is a window that appears to tell you that you have unlocked advanced settings, and an explanation of what you can do with these advanced settings more details in this page
Highlight secondary selection
Enable or not the highlighting of the adjacent cells of the cell you've touched (and the cells in the same zone, and the potential sister cells)
- Highlight secondary selection
Highlight inconsistencies
Enable or not the coloring of wrong digits (i.e. if there are two adjacent 1, or if there is a 5 in a 4-zone, or if two sister cells have different values)
- Highlight inconsistencies
Sound Enabled (later)
Enable or not the sound, when you select a cell it makes a sound. (There could be like a cycle of a dozen notes which would make a small melody).
- Enable sound (later)
Themes of Colors
Themes
Change the themes of colors. 6 different themes, the theme contains the color of the cells, the color of the lines/initial digits (which must be very different from the color of the cells), the color of the digits, the color of the selections (primary and secondary), the color of inconsistencies.
Characters used for indication of cell with same value
Use color of the cell background to indicate cells with the same value or cells with a difference of 1 (as define in the Penta definition) Color blind person will still prefer to use the "special" characters so the characters used could be selected in user settings too
Advanced Settings
The possibility to change the sets of variables. To choose the letters you will use.
There are 6 blocks within each there are 5 squares. In the square there is either a letter or a digit.
The 6 blocks will represent the 6 different systems of variables that you can have in your screen. And the 5 squares within it are the variables of the said system.
One of the blocks contains the digits 1 2 3 4 5 and this cannot be modified, but the block can still be moved. The other blocks have default values in the squares that will be specified below, but can be totally modified by the user. It is possible to put digits in these editable squares, for example you could have the system 1 x y z 5.
You can also put twice the same value either in several systems or even in one system (even though for this last option it's useless). In each square you can put any letter of the latin alphabet, either lower or upper case, and those of the greek alphabet, but perhaps not the upper case letters that are also in the latin alphabet (for example an upper case alpha is like an upper case a, so to avoid possible confusions, we should forbid it.)
When you click on an editable square, a "keyboard" appears, with these 2 alphabets lower and upper case (see image)
The letter that appears in the game screen to represent the system of variables is either 1 for the full digits system or the first non digit letter starting from the left (see image)
