Floors of the Cardificer's Atelier

The Sewers

Full of gross sludge and sewage, home to slimes, rats, bats, and other vermin, as well as the occasional sorcerer looking to get away from their studies. Those who have become tainted by the Cardboard Rot infest this place. One would do well to come here well protected.

The Dungeons

A neglected area of the Atelier, riddled with the Cardboard Rot and hostile Gobbos looking for salvage to reuse as building materials for their villages. Due to the lack of oversight from the Cardificer, though, some locals have actually set up shop down here. Many Gobbos make their homes in the dungeons.

The Grand Study

A grand library full of books the Cardificer has gathered throughout his travels. Home to the Magi Academy and by extension a plethora of the Cardificer's magically inclined creations. Like with everywhere in the Atelier, this area is full of Gobbos, but only those staunch enough to fend off the Magi that are sent to clear them out. Many of the Cardificer's failed experiments wind up here before being cast down to the dungeons as well.

The Workshop

The crown jewel of the Atelier, the Cardificer's Workshop is equal parts treasure room, throne room, and factory, and is guarded by the Cardificer's elite creations. The chiefs of the Gobbo Tribe and their personal guards can be found here, as well as elite mages from the Magi Academy, and some of the more dangerous of the Cardificer's experiments.
