oEmbed - OregonDigital/OD2 GitHub Wiki

A new property for oEmbed URL was added to the FileSet model. Only the URL is stored, and the media player is requested on page load. All descriptive metadata is available. Uses ruby-oembed and blacklight-oembed gems. A 'Manage oEmbeds' page was added to the Dashboard to monitor usage and errors.

Supported Platforms

• OSU's MediaSpace (Kaltura)
• ruby-oembed built-in providers
