Originally the site should have had different colors (one for every element) but as time passed it got clear that one would need to mix the colors whenever two different elements were found in the same geometric form (as for example in the oracle).

Thus, only black and white should be enough. Plus the big contrast gave the whole thing a bit of "mystic". And that's exactly what we're after.
