OneLayerActive Action - OptrixAU/xltoadobe GitHub Wiki
The OneLayerActive action will hide all layers in a particular layer group, except for the chosen one.
Photoshop
The parameter is the parent layer for the layers you want to control (ie, the name of the layer group that the layers you want to toggle between are placed in). If your layer group is nested in other layer groups, you can use the colon (:) character to split them.
For instance, your Photoshop file may contain the following layers...
- Symbols
- Elements
- Fire
- Ice
- Earth
- Air
- Elements
Your column in Excel would look like this...
Text | OneLayerActive |
---|---|
Title | Symbols:Elements |
Fire Breathing | Fire |
Splash | Fire |
Spark | Air |
Spike | Earth |
The Earth layer would be the only element symbol visible for the Spike card, while Splash would show the Air symbol.
In Other Programs
This action is only available in programs that support layer groups. For programs without groups, such as Illustrator or InDesign, you might want to use the ChooseLayer Action.
