Welcome to the Project-Internet-2.0 wiki!

Project Internet 2.0 is a Free Open Source project to create a Free Internet based on Anonymous style Peer to Peer (P2P) Technology. This project is focused on the idea of creating an Internet with natural boundaries and tor style Anonymity rather then relying entirely on heavy encryption technology that has a reputation of being vulnerable to attacks. This simple idea is to take existing P2P Bit Torrent technology and modify it so people can distribute web content, Videos, emails, Instant messages private or public, and everything else the web currently is known to love and provide an Internet that has no central control by any entity or agency. The idea of Internet 2.0 is to break away from the current monopoly system of dedicated servers and let the Internet be distributed and designed by the people, for the people in other words People powered Internet. Further, the more people that access Internet 2.0 the faster the content sharing will become. This idea is the foundation behind Bit torrent technology and creating a Internet infrastructure around this technology is the corner stone of the new Internet revolution. So lets get started and make history.
